Fine jewellery made for Indian celebrations, and for every ordinary day in between.

LAZELLE began with a simple idea: fine jewellery should be honest about what it is made of and what it costs. Every piece is designed in our studio and finished by hand, and every product page lists what goes into it: the metal and its purity, the weight and the stones.
We design for real Indian lives. A mangalsutra light enough for the office. Jhumkas that last through a sangeet. A gold coin for Dhanteras, a kada for Bhai Dooj, a solitaire for the question you have been waiting to ask.

Our pieces are made with karigars whose skills have been handed down through generations: filigree, kundan and polki setting, temple-style repoussé and meenakari enamel. Our designers work alongside them at the bench, pairing traditional technique with modern finishing.
The result is jewellery that feels light and comfortable to wear, with clasps that hold, stones that stay put and a finish that looks as good on the inside of a bangle as on the outside.

Recycled gold. Wherever the design allows, we cast in recycled gold: refined gold that has already been mined once. It is chemically identical to newly mined gold, carries the same BIS hallmark and reduces the demand for new mining.
Responsibly sourced diamonds. We buy diamonds only from suppliers who follow the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme and the World Diamond Council System of Warranties, and our invoices state that the diamonds are natural and conflict-free.
Old gold, new life. Our old-gold exchange lets you turn pieces you no longer wear into something you will, so the gold you already own stays in use.
Read about old-gold exchangeSix stages, each one checked before the next begins.

Every design starts on paper. Our designers sketch by hand, working out proportions, how the piece sits on the body and how it will catch the light.

The sketch becomes a precise 3D model in CAD software. We print it in wax or resin to check scale, weight and comfort before any gold is used.

The wax model is set in plaster, melted out and replaced with molten gold. It is the lost-wax method jewellers have relied on for centuries.

Setters place each diamond or gemstone by hand under magnification, securing it with prongs, a bezel or pavé beads so it sits level and stays secure.

Each piece is filed, polished and, for white gold, rhodium plated. We then check weight, finish, stone security, clasps and comfort before it is approved.

Gold pieces go to a BIS-recognised Assaying and Hallmarking Centre, where purity is tested and the BIS mark, purity grade and a unique 6-digit HUID are laser-marked.
Every gold piece carries the BIS mark, its purity grade and a 6-digit HUID you can verify on the BIS CARE app.
Diamonds come with a report from an independent laboratory such as IGI or SGL, stating cut, colour, clarity and carat.
